How do I use the Floor Type setting?

Note "Floor Type" features are in a beta release as we actively try to make improvements. We'd love your feedback so please email us your thoughts at support@puppod.com

Floor type sensitivity increases in the following order: Concrete -> Tile -> Wood -> Vinyl -> Rug -> Carpet.
Because concrete has less friction, the toy is more susceptible to external vibrations & touch hence the sensitivity of concrete is set to the lowest possible setting. On the other hand a thick carpet will absorb vibrations and nudges from your dog, giving this floor type the highest sensitivity setting possible. In other words, lesser amounts of force will trigger the toy.

The sensitivity of the Rocker increases in the following order: -3 -> -2 -> -1 -> 0 -> +1 -> +2 -> +3
Fine tuning the slider allows to increase or decrease sensitivity to further adjust to your dogs play style. The higher the number the more sensitive the toy is to touch. For example, Wood+3 will require less force to trigger the accelerometer compared to Wood+0. The smaller/lesser this value the less sensitive the Rocker is going to be to touch. For example, Carpet -3 would require more force to trigger the accelerometer as compared to Carpet +0

Concrete -3 = the least sensitive Rocker setting
Carpet +3 = the most sensitive Rocker setting

Use both the Floor Type functionality & Sensitivity setting to adjust to the playing surface you're using as well as your dogs play style.
